Canadian freight railroads and Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) union in late May met with the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) to discuss the Minister of Labor’s request for clarity on the continuation of activities during a work stoppage. This resulted in an extended deadline of June 14 for the Canadian railroads and unions to submit their respective responses.
