Headquartered in the Washington DC metro area, the NCBFAA represents more than 1500 member companies with 110,000 employees in international trade - the nation's leading freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transportation intermediaries (OTIs), NVOCCs and air cargo agents, serving more than 250,000 importers and exporters. The Association’s members handle more than 97% of the entries for goods imported into the United States and are directly involved with the logistics of these goods. Further, members operating as OTIs are involved with approximately 80 to 85% of all exports from the United States.

CBP Webinar: Introduction to Biological Material Importation: USDA Regulations

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Office of Field Operations is hosting a webinar on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET titled Introduction to Biological Material Importation: USDA Regulations. This webinar, presented by CBP’s Agriculture Programs and Trade Liaison (APTL) and a U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Veterinary Medical Officer, will provide an overview of regulatory authority, guidelines, and the import process for biological material requirements. Participants will learn about key regulations, import procedures, and resources available from CBP and USDA to ensure safe importation.

All registrants will receive the access link for the webinar the day before the event, but entry into the webinar is on a first-come, first-served basis as seats are limited. After the live event, this and other previously recorded webinars will be available for replay at Trade Outreach Webinars | U.S. Customs and Border Protection (cbp.gov).
