Headquartered in the Washington DC metro area, the NCBFAA represents more than 1422+ member companies with 110,000 employees in international trade - the nation's leading freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transportation intermediaries (OTIs), NVOCCs and air cargo agents, serving more than 250,000 importers and exporters. The Association’s members handle more than 97% of the entries for goods imported into the United States and are directly involved with the logistics of these goods. Further, members operating as OTIs are involved with approximately 80 to 85% of all exports from the United States.

  • NCBFAA Customs Committee Monitors Recent IEEPA Tariff Changes and Updates

    The NCBFAA Customs Committee and Counsel of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., continue to provide our customs broker members with the latest details regarding tariff changes resulting from the implementation of the U.S.-Korea Strategic Trade and Investment Deal, as well as the latest Customs and Border Protection (CBP) IEEPA guidance and FAQ updates. The Committee will continue sending our members Trump Administration tariff updates and subsequent CBP guidance, as soon as received.

  • FSIS Updates Guidelines for US-Origin Claims

    The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced updates to its label approval guidelines to help establishments to meet new requirements for use of voluntary U.S.-origin label claims on FSIS-regulated products (meat, poultry and eggs).

  • RAC CPSC Toolkit Now Available for Importers

    The NCBFAA Regulatory Agencies Committee (RAC) is making the resources in the CPSC Toolkit available to association members’ importer clients to help prepare them for the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Certificate E-Filing requirements which take effect July 8, 2026.

ST&R is a CBP approved accreditor and has worked with both CBP and the other accreditors in developing the accreditation process.
