  The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) on May 1 initiated an investigation to determine the effects on the national security of imports of commercial aircraft and jet engines, and parts for commercial aircraft and jet engines.

  Customs and Border Protection (CBP) notified the trade that on May 15 with the 2 p.m. ET ACE deployment that it will enforce a new validation requiring Supplemental Manifest information when submitting to the Export Manifest email inbox.
