FSMA 204 Food Traceability Rule - A high level overview for Customs Brokers & the Trade Community

Tue, Oct 27, 2026 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EDT

Free webinar

This presentation provides a high-level overview of the FDA's Food Traceability Rule (FTR), issued under FSMA Section 204, and its implications for customs brokers, importers, and logistics providers. Attendees will learn which foods are covered under the Food Traceability List (FTL), what Critical Tracking Events (CTEs) and Key Data Elements (KDEs) must be documented, and who bears recordkeeping responsibilities under the rule — including members of the trade community who hold FTL-covered foods at any point in the supply chain. With a compliance deadline of July 20, 2028, the session emphasizes why building a traceability program must begin now, and provides actionable steps for getting started.
