Continuing Education

Continuing education is key to the mission of the NCBFAA Educational Institute (NEI). Once an individual has earned one of our four professional designations (CCS, MCS, CES, or MES), they must earn a specified number of continuing education credits each year in order to be eligible for recertification. Designees must both earn their continuing education credits and pay a renewal fee in order to maintain their designation annually.

How to Obtain Credits

Search our Logistics-EI homepage for approved content. Most content on this site is not hosted by the NEI, so you will need to go to the link in the description to enroll or register for the event. Also, make sure the event you are interested in has not already occurred.

View a trade outreach webinar hosted by CBP. All CBP webinars are free of charge.

Attend an NEI-hosted webinar.

Complete courses through one of our partner organizations.

Attend approved events found on our event calendar. Please email accreditation@ncbfaa.org for accreditation assistance.

Ask your company if any job training qualifies for your designation, or ask your local broker association if they host any approved events.
