Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said it will update the Electronic Export Manifest (EEM) disposition codes for AIR IATA to promote accurate formatting in the EEM party details. The EEM data elements must be submitted in the correct segment outlined in the EEM Implementation Guides (IGs).

The NCBFAA Customs Committee In-Bond Subcommittee recently worked with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to create the INBND-009 In-Bond Shipment Status report to assist in-bond filers to identify in-bonds that are not in a closed status.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on June 20 deployed the Forced Labor Allegation Portal, allowing trade users to submit forced labor allegations. Allegations may be submitted anonymously, and users will be able to view and upload supporting documents related to their submissions.

The Senate on June 18 approved by a 51-46 vote to confirm Rodney Scott to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has updated the ACE Entry Summary Dictionary for the June 28 deployment in the ACE Production environment to increase the HTS numbers allowed per entry summary line. This enhancement will enable filers to include up to 16 HTS numbers on one entry summary line, including for Reconciliation and Drawback entry summaries. The current limit is 8 HTS numbers per entry summary line.
