NAFTZ Webinar: What FTZs should know about the Lacey Act

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced the largest expansion of Lacey Act filing requirements in years.  If you import items that contain any amount of plant products, and you do not currently file a Lacey Act declaration, you will likely need to file one once the Phase VII round of HTS codes are flagged,

If you already file Lacey Act declarations, Phase VII will likely expand the range of products for which declarations will be required. So whether you are new to Lacey Act declarations or not, join this webinar to hear directly from an APHIS official regarding the status of implementation policy and upcoming schedule.

Speakers: Erin Otto, National Policy Manager - Lacey Act, Compliance and Environmental Coordination, APHIS, PPQ, PIEP PCC
