FIATA reminds air freight forwarders that new European Union (EU) requirements will enter into force under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/920, effective Sept. 1. These requirements apply to Regulated Agents (RAs), which are entities formally approved by the competent EU authority to apply security controls to cargo.

The Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) on Friday evening, Aug. 29, released its decision in V.O.S. Selections, Inc. v. Trump, the case challenging the IEEPA Reciprocal, IEEPA Fentanyl (China), and IEEPA Border (CA/MX) tariffs.

Customs and Border Protection on Aug. 29 provided guidance to the trade on the extension of certain product specific exclusions and certain manufacturing equipment exclusions from Section 301 duties on imports of Chinese goods through Nov. 29, 2025.
