The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is providing a new resource, Preparing for the FDA Voluntary Qualified Importer Program (VQIP), to help importers who want to participate in the program.

FIATA reminds air freight forwarders that new European Union (EU) requirements will enter into force under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/920, effective Sept. 1. These requirements apply to Regulated Agents (RAs), which are entities formally approved by the competent EU authority to apply security controls to cargo.
