  • Fish and Wildlife Service Pushes Mandatory ACE Filing to Fall

    The Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) will delay the expected June implementation of the FWS Message Set in ACE - with a new tentative date of early fall. The agency is still in the process of revising its regulations to reflect the use of ACE to submit import entry data for FWS regulated products. Implementation will occur 60 days after a final rule is published in the Federal Register.

  • CBP Administrative Ruling Related to Domestic Warehouses, Fulfillment Centers

    May, 03, 2021
    Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued an administrative ruling on July 28, 2020, recognizing fulfillment centers and domestic warehouses as the "one person" for unsold merchandise. Under this ruling, foreign owners/sellers of unsold merchandise may also qualify as the "one person" provided their identity is presented to CBP and the total value of their merchandise imported on one day is $800 or less.
