If you’re a Licensed Customs Broker and an NCBFAA member, you can earn continuing education credits if you register to attend the 52nd NCBFAA Annual Conference at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass on April 6-9, 2025. The new Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Continuing Education (CE) requirement is mandatory for all individually licensed customs brokers and non-compliance could result in a suspended or revoked license.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the Miami International Airport, effective Jan. 12, will have new hours – Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET – for perishable entries (except for live animals) which require cargo processing at the General Aviation Facility outside Cargo Operations regular business hours.

The Fall 2024 list of changes to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Schedule B, which were made by 484(f) Committee, will become effective Jan. 1. The committee serves the trade data needs of both government and private data users by adding, removing, or modifying the non-legal 10-digit statistical reporting numbers in the HTS and Schedule B (Exports).
