2024 World Customs Day: Compliance on the Front Lines

In these uncertain times, trade compliance professionals play an
ever-increasing role in securing the supply chain. Nelson Balido, a
regular on national news shows and publications, is the Chairman of the
Border Commerce and Security Council and 501c6 organization that is also
dual-hatted as Special Advisor to the Office of the Commissioner, U.S.
Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and a
member of ITAC-13, Customs and Trade Facilitation for over twelve
years.
He will discuss the importance of the trade compliance
community, Southwest Border issues, and the political climate in the
U.S. and South of the Border and how that affects legitimate trade and
travel that, if gone unchecked, could lead to an out-of-control spiral
affecting North America.
