Digital Customs and Trade Facilitation Reverse Trade Mission (September 9-20, 2024) – The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), in partnership with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is hosting a series of reverse trade mission (RTM) visits to the United States for Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) countries. The first RTM scheduled for September 2024 will include delegations from India, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam with focus on customs processing systems, cargo scanning and tracking systems, blockchain solutions, artificial intelligence, data management, risk management, express consignment and small package shipments, and other priority topics of interest to the delegation. The RTM will bring customs officials and relevant government agencies to the United States to familiarize them with U.S. technologies, services, and best practices to digitalize customs and trade facilitation processes and procedures.
