• NCBFAA Members Urged to Write Their Representatives to Pass GSP Legislation

  Congress is expected to pass legislation that will renew the expired Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) for another six years and will allow retroactive GSP claims and refunds to the date of expiry, Dec. 31, 2020.

• Commerce Preliminary Scope Decision Following Aluminum Extrusion Imports Investigations

  The U.S. Commerce Department in a May 1 memorandum said it received numerous scope comments from parties regarding its less-than-fair-value and countervailing duty investigations of aluminum extrusions from China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.
