;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Generative AI is already inside every brokerage\, wheth
er or not it's been "officially" adopted. This session gives licensed
customs brokers and forwarders a clear\, non-technical picture of what
AI actually is (a fluency machine\, not a truth machine) and where th
e law places responsibility when it gets customs work wrong. We'll cov
 er the reasonable-care standard under 19 U.S.C. § 1484\, brokers' resp
onsible supervision and control obligations under 19 CFR Part 111\, an
d how culpability tiers under §§ 1592 and 1641 change depending on whe
ther AI use was supervised or not. We'll also look at two of 2026's la
ndmark developments in AI liability law\, including the UK Jurisdictio
n Taskforce's Legal Statement on Liability for AI Harms\, and use the
ongoing IEEPA tariff refund wave as a live case study in dividing mach
