About the webinar
Transportation intermediaries face critical exposures that may cause allegations of negligence and subsequent litigation resulting in a crippling financial burden for the company. Conversely, many opportunities exist for transportation intermediaries to provide value-added services which may help increase their bottom-line.
 
The seminar will focus on the following common elements to a shipper contract and their impact on a transportation provider’s insurance program:

About your presenter
Brendan M. Walsh, Senior Account Executive
Brendan Walsh is a licensed insurance broker specializing in cargo insurance, errors & omissions, property/casualty and bonds for transportation specialists. Brendan began his career with Roanoke Trade in 2003 and has worked in Roanoke’s Chicago and New York offices. He is now located in Roanoke Trade’s Los Angeles office in the role of Senior Account Executive. Brendan specializes in creating risk management programs for transportation specialists. He is a member of the LACBFFA, NY/NJ Freight Forwarders Association, as well as many other industry associations. Brendan is a contributor to various transportation industry publications including the Journal of Commerce’Breakbulk and speaks at various industry events. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/Philosophy from Syracuse University and holds a certificate in Risk Management (CIRM).
