Upcoming NEI Webinars!
Sept. 14: CBSAs CARM Initiative—The New Mandatory System for U.S. Non-Resident Importers
Are you currently or want to be a Non-Resident Importer to Canada? Then this webinar, scheduled for Sept. 14th from 1 to 2 pm ET, is for you! The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has undertaken a two-year plan to introduce their CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) initiative. This initiative aims to take Canada’s trade into the future and further improve the country’s trade performance. CARM’s implementation provides importers access to their trade information and account balances, direct payment solutions, and a myriad of trade tools that simplify their importing processes. CARM also gives the CBSA greater insight into importer data and level of compliance. (Note: enrollment and use of this system will be mandatory for U.S. non-resident importers.)
Registration is $25 and attendance is worth 1 CCS/CES credit. Register here.
