Updated ACE Development and Deployment Schedule
Last week, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced an update to their notional development and deployment schedule of planned ACE enhancements. Their schedule reflects those enhancements that have been prioritized and funded, and that CBP has begun developing. This is a notional schedule, and it is subject to modifications.
The next planned update is scheduled for October 24 and focuses on the following enhancements:
- Real-time Automated Surety Interface (ASI)
Notable updates for the remaining of 2020 and early 2021 include:
- Broker Fee Automation
- USMCA Drawback Changes
