CPSC 1USG Messaging Expected to be Available to All Filers in August 2020
In a CSMS message published on July 24, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that they are planning to “fully implement Two Way Messaging no earlier than August 10, 2020, in Production. At that time, all filers will be subject to CPSC's 1USG Notification process.”
CPSC’s 1USG Notification process is currently available for self-certification testing. To evaluate how the CPSC messaging process will impact your service provider, the CBP certification environment is now available to all filers. Please try it out and let CPSC know if you have any feedback.
