||Responsible for all educational programs for the organization. Also oversees credentialing for these programs.
Advisory Committee: Members of this category will be in a position to advise the NEI regarding the educational programs while maintaining the integrity of the overall programs. They will be invited to NEI meetings on an unfunded basis strictly as an advisor and will not hold voting status.
Policy Committee: Members of this category will include past NEI chairmen, the President of the association, the Transportation and Customs committee Chairmen. The functions of the policy committee are to develop and define parameters, as well as maintain oversight of the educational programs. It is imperative to establish and maintain consistency with regards to policies affecting our programs. This committee will meet separately via conference call whenever necessary, but no less than annually to review and vote on educational policies.
Content Committee: This will be a working committee whose functions will be to establish, edit and/or approve the content of the NEI offered programs. Each committee member will be required to create a case study and edit one created by another committee member on an annual basis. Note that the creation of one case study and service on this committee should satisfy 20 continuing educational points for the year for the writer. This committee will also settle any content disputes on exams or case studies. This committee will hold a funded meeting annually to establish and review the year's webinars, case studies, publications and any other educations offerings during the year.
