Ed Greenberg is a partner with the Washington, D.C. law firm of GKG Law, P.C. concentrating on transportation law and international trade. He is also General Counsel to the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (“NCBFAA”) and represents numerous ocean freight forwarders, NVOCCs, shippers associations and shippers.
Ed is also a member of a number of professional associations, including the Maritime Lawyers Association, the Maritime Administrative Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Association for Transportation Lawyers.
Before joining Galland, Kharasch, Ed was Chief Counsel at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in the proceeding concerning the construction and operation of the Trans Alaska Pipeline. Before that Ed was Regional Counsel for the Interstate Commerce Commission and generally in charge of enforcement and litigation pertaining to motor carriers, water carriers and freight forwarders. Ed has written extensively in various legal and trade periodicals on forwarding issues and is past President of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Association of Transportation Practitioners. In addition, he is the Maritime Editor of the Association for Transportation Lawyers.
