EXIM’s 2019 Annual Conference Scheduled for March 28/29
The Export–Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) will be hosting their 2019 Annual Conference, “Exports: Connecting Trade with U.S. Security and Prosperity,” on March 28-29 in Washington, D.C. The event will feature a combination of keynote remarks, plenary sessions, and interactive breakout sessions focused on the important role trade plays in terms of increasing U.S security and prosperity. As in years past, EXIM expects to welcome nearly 800 participants from around the world.
This conference provides an opportunity to come together with some of the brightest minds in business, economic policy, and foreign affairs to engage in important conversations around global issues. You will also be able to meet and converse with experts in trade, government, and banking.
Of particular interest to NCBFAA members, the conference will host sessions on the following topics:
- How export credit financing protects U.S. industries of key strategic importance
- The weaponization of trade: learn about other nations using export credit to advance political policy
- Ongoing trade negotiations in the era of Trump
- Export finance versus development finance
