NCBFAA Actions on Your Behalf
Last week, the NCBFAA opened registration for the 2019 Annual Conference! NCBFAA staff and Leadership have been hard at work behind the scenes working towards putting together the best Conference to date! We hope you join us April 14-17 at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio in San Antonio, TX!
NCBFAA President Amy Magnus had the opportunity last week to sit on a panel with U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Bradley Hayes at the IE Canada event in Ottawa. She discussed the Commercial Customs Operation Advisory Committee’s (COAC) role, the Trade Support Network (TSN) and, most importantly, NCBFAA’s role in working closely with CBP on the myriad issues that impact us all. Additionally, both Magnus and NCBFAA Customs Committee Chair Mary Jo Muoio continued their work with the inbond working group.
NCBFAA Executive Vice President Megan Montgomery met with our hotel partner, Hilton, on NCBFAA’s upcoming conferences and board meeting events. She sat in on CBP’s monthly drawback call and spent time on administration for the Association.
