Andrew “Andy” Werner is a life-long resident of Glen Burnie, currently living in the same house where he was raised. He is a graduate of Glen Burnie High School (1979) and attended Corkran Junior High and Holy Trinity Catholic School (presently Monsignor Slade Catholic School). He began a career in international customs and freight forwarding after graduation and earned his Customs Broker License in 1987. Andy opened the Western Overseas Corporations’ Maryland office in 1999 and currently manages the Glen Burnie branch office. Active in the professional community, he is a member of the Traffic Club of Baltimore, the Propeller Club of the U.S., the Baltimore Customs Broker and Freight Forwarders Association and the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Werner has previously worked for A.W. Fenton, Harper Robinson Co., All Transport (i.e. Danzas, Danzas Northern air, now DHL) and F.W. Myers. He has been married since 1988 and has 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
