NCBFAA Annual Conference ACE Session But One Element in Full Court Press

      On April 26, following the 2012 NCBFAA Annual Conferencethe NCBFAA will conduct a Thursday NCBFAA Educational Institute (NEI) Workshop, open to all who register for it. Along with its traditional schedule of sessions designed for Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) and Certified Export Specialists (CES), the workshop will include an opportunity to meet with knowledgeable CBP officials to address, in a one-on-one session with those participating, any specific issues they may be experiencing with the new ACE platform. These "Learn How to Navigate the New System" Sessions will last 30 minutes, and participants are encouraged to register a timeslot in advance to ensure the time they want is available. During the coming months the NEI will convene additional "Learn How to Navigate the New System" events in major cities around the country. Watch for announcements in the Monday Morning eBriefing!

      In the run up to this NEI event, the NCBFAA is holding, from March 6-8, 2012, in Arlington, Virginia, an ACE Software Vendor Conference  that will feature CBP presentations by those in the know when it comes to ACE. To effectively deliver the content being presented, all attendees must register for a minimum of two days as set forth in the registration options.

      Additionally, the NCBFAA Automation Subcommittee of the NCBFAA Customs Committee, at the behest of the ACE Strategy Task Group, has produced an ACE Transition "How To" toolkit, which will soon be available to members free of charge and to non-members for $45 from the NCBFAA’s online store.

      Everyone who registers for the 2012 NCBFAA Annual Conference in beautiful Hollywood, Florida at the accommodating Westin Diplomat Resort before midnight, March 16 will be enrolled in a special raffle with the winner being refunded the Conference registration fee ($800, $945, or $1,075, depending on member status). Of course, to be refunded, the fee will have to have been paid; so, only those whose fees are fully paid will be included in the raffle. After the Early Bird expiration, prices will increase to $905, $1.075 and $1,210 until April 13 at which point they will rise to the on-site prices of $950, $1,125 and $1,250.

      Not only will you save significantly before the Early Bird expires (and this year, per our Board of Directors, there will positively be no extension of the Early Bird) but you also have a chance to eliminate even the Early Bird cost should you win the raffle.

If you plan on attending the NCBFAA Annual Conference anyway, there is no reason to miss this opportunity.

  • $945 for Affiliate/Professional Members
  • $1,075 Non-Members
